Welcome to Poetic Transparency. I am privileged, honored and humbled to share
my poetic transparencies with God’s people. Yes, that is you! I believe that at least
one of my poems will mimic, if not your personal life, the life of someone whom
you know. From my first book entitled, The Thorns and Petals of Life, From My
Soap Opera Drama to Seeking Salvation from God the Father is a snap shot of
who I was and some of my relationships prior to marriage. My book of poems
includes past failed relationships, rejections, love, life and crossroads to maturity
and my spiritual destiny. This has been, and still is, a journey in preparation for
greater. I have been chosen by God to encourage my sisters and brothers in Christ
Jesus to be better stewards of our lives. I would like to say Peace be with you and

PoeticTransparency Radio and Cable Television Ministry invites ALL women to join us on August 8-10, 2024 for our Annual Women's Retreat. Theme: Decorated Pain Of A Virtuous Woman Who Now Prioritizes God is a transformative and empowering experience designed to help women expose, label, navigate and heal from our emotional pains with superficial cover-ups. Held in a serene and supportive environment, this Retreat is focused on providing a safe space for us to express our emotions and stories through creative outlets such as workshops, journaling, individual/group discussions, prophetic worship and deliverance prayers.
Participants will engage in various activities that will encourage us to explore our pain, confront our challenges, and ultimately transform our experiences into sources of spiritual strength, growth and development. Guided by the direction of the Holy Spirit, through the facilitators, attendees will learn techniques to detoxify internal negative emotions, edit our narratives and channel them into creative expressions of a Virtuous Woman.
Throughout the Retreat, we will share our personal journeys, foster a sense of unity and understanding through Transparency. Among the take-aways, it is our prayer that each woman will give birth to new beginnings, discover new ways to heal, cope, and empower ourselves moving forward by God's grace. The Retreat will highlight the profound connection between creativity and emotional healing, leaving participants with a renewed sense of purpose and a network of supportive peers.

Synopsis
Having migrated from Trinidad and Tobago at the age of seventeen, my dreams of a positive role model in society were to make a contribution to the fashion industry, perhaps. However, as a source of income, my journey started in the medical field and is still my foundation. The Thorns and Petals of Life is a bitter-sweet journey from my soap opera drama to seeking salvation from God the father. I can attest that God is watching over me and pruning the things and people that are not of Him from my life. Out of all of my tears, which I can now call treasures, Thank You God, I Know You For Myself, is the most priceless experience that can be compared to none other. I thank God for being the keeper of The Thorns and Petals of Life that have formed my character and given birth to my destiny. I am particularly humbled when I think of His Footprints In the Sand. Had it not been for the Lord on my side where would I be? I am glad to know that so many of my decisions were overruled and He ordered my steps. Among the many gifts God favored me; a poet was never an option that I envisioned. He knew my destiny before I embarked on therapeutically expressing my emotions and creativity by writing poems over twenty years ago. I thank God for using me as a vessel to share My Contributions of Heartaches, Wisdom, and Spirituality with His people. If I Can Help Somebody Along The Way, Then My Living Will Not Be in Vain.
